This pro has revealed his tricks for cutting and shaping flippers, slippers or flip flop sandals (whatever you call it) into an amazing work of art. In my perspective he is remarkably talented, he is innovative and motivated in pursuing his happiness through art and design.

This remarkable artist has hundreds of pairs of sandals in his apartment which he has skillfully designed with numerous layouts, and for your information these layouts look beautiful. The interesting thing is, Taka san does that as a hobby and for leisure, he doesnt sell them. What?!

All Taka requires is a pencil to sketch, and an art knife to cut out the unwanted areas, and the result is a wonderful piece of art.
May be i should indulge in this hobby back home.
On the other hand, Kenyans have mastered the skill to make sandals from used tyres since 19th century. For instance in my Kamba community, sandals from old tires have been a tradition and today they have been transformed from traditional old fashioned sandals to trendy.
